JANESVILLE? Joyce A. Miller, 71, of 2123 Highland Ave., died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Albany, MN, on Oct, 26, 1933, daughter of James and Gertrude (Weber) Lenarz. She married Arthur P. Miller on June 23, 1956, at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, and together they moved to Janesville in 1963. Joyce was employed by Mercy Hospital for 16 years until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of St. William?s Catholic Church, Catholic Women?s Club, Mercy Alumni Association, and was a volunteer for St. William?s School and Health Net. She enjoyed cribbage, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Joyce is survived by her husband, Art; 10 children: Steve (Georgia) Miller of Miamisburg, OH, Barb (Bill Wood) Miller of Watertown, MA, Mike (Karen) Miller of Hampton, VA, Marilyn (Ramon) Garcia of Seville, Spain, Jim (Carey) Miller of Appleton, Nancy (Shawn) Blatt of Beavercreek, OH, Becky (Brian) Dieleman of Milwaukee, Debbie (Adam Pachter) Miller of Arlington, MA, Emily (Mel) Blaney of LaCanada, CA, and Amy Miller of Watertown, MA; 12 grandchildren: Emily, Abby, Brenna, Taylor, Jessica, Jill, Sara, Brad, Jeff, Jenna, Connor and Lucy; and 2 sisters, Donna (Bob) Barnes of New Berlin, WI, and Marilyn (Pat) Finn of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Fr. Richard Lenarz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at ST. WILLIAM?S Catholic Church , with Fr. John Auby officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Memorials may be made to St. William's School in memory of Joyce Miller.
