She was a daughter of the late John and Caroline Riley Miller.
Mrs. Bowling was employed at the W. T. Grant store in Gettysburg and at the Weishaar Brothers store in Gettysburg prior to her retirement and was a life-long member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Bowling, who departed this life in 1964, and is survived by one daughter, Darlene M. Feaga of Gettysburg; two sons, Ralph L. Bowling of Gettysburg and Fred J. Bowling of Westfield; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; four brothers, Philip Miller and Charles Miller, both of Gettysburg, Francis Miller of Littlestown, and Father James Miller of Carthagena, OH, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Tipton and Ruth Plank, and one brother, Bernard Miller.
