MARANZIE (MILLER) BEACHEM, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was married to the late J.C. Beachem Sr. Surviving are daughters, Metrice Smith, Brenda Williams, Tornette Jones, and Theresa (Keith) Samuel; son, J.C. Beachem Jr.; sister, Lula Mae Rose of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Robert Miller of Little Rock, Ark.; special sister-in-law, Erdie Hawkins of Nashville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Rufus Beachem. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ellis Funeral Home, 1021 E. Lewis St., with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
