MILLER, Anna Carlton, 84, of 1954 Hood St., was dead on arrival at 9 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born at Macedonia (1879), and had been a resident of Springfield for three years. She was a member of the Macedonia Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Miss Gertie MILLER of Springfield, Mrs. Gladys BAIN of Moline, Mrs. Genevieve HAYES of Springfield and Miss Mary MILLER of Moline; two sons, Kenneth of Eldorado and Carlton of Springfield; one brother, Marshall CARLTON of Macedonia; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth HUTCHCRAFT and Mrs. Ethel GIBBS, both of Macedonia, Mrs. Cora BUTLER of Mount Vernon and Mrs. Nellie Zelhart of Maros; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services at Macedonia Methodist church.
Interment at Macedonia Cemetery. Remains removed from Ellinger & Kunz Funeral Home to Drake-Hobbs Funeral Home at Benton. (Died 1963).
