Mrs. Addie Free, pioneer resident of the Iconium community, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Evergreen nursing home at Centerville. She suffered a heart attack.
Neoma Adeline Free was born in Shelby county, Ill., the daughter of Joseph (Miller) and Nannie Perryman on February 14, 1875. She was married to Will Free October 7, 1894. He died October 17, 1942.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Fern Massman of Centerville, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four half-sisters. One son, John David died at birth.
Funeral services will be at the Turner Funeral home Thursday afternoon with burial in the Iconium cemetery. (Moravia Union, Iowa, January 8, 1959)
