Helen Mardene (Miller) LeCroy, age 80 of Pikeville, Tennessee, formerly of Conyers, Georgia, passed away on March 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack LeCroy and her sons, Randy and Kyle LeCroy. Survivors include daughters, Sharon LeCroy of Pikeville, TN, Becky LeCroy Rawlins (Eddie) of Grayson, GA and Pamela LeCroy Oursler (David) of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Scott Rawlins (Tammy) of Columbus, GA, Amanda Rawlins Reeves (Jason) of McDonough, GA, Trey and Kevin Oursler of Asheville, NC; Kyla LeCroy Coram (Ryan) of Cumming, GA; great-grandchildren, Kayla Millwood Moore (Zack), Kari Cox, Peyton Rawlins, Jordan Reeves and Addison Coram; great-great-grandchild, Kamryn Moore.



Mardene was born on April 19, 1930 in Tacoma, Washington where she met and married the young soldier from GA who would become her husband of fifty years. Mardene and Jack were active supporters of education and worked tirelessly to support the schools of their children and grandchildren. Together they built a successful restaurant business in the Atlanta area and, in addition, they served as active members of both the GA and American Quarter Horse Associations. Being a member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church and Memorial Lighthouse Baptist Church provided spiritual leadership and joy. Moving to Tennessee gave her the opportunity to meet and make new friends. She became a member of the Homesteads Church of Christ and had many happy days with the ladies classes and trips. Funeral services at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Minister Noble Wright officiating.
