Annie Lucile Boyd Miller was the daughter of Charles Boyd and Rena Hamlin, and the first wife of John Robert Miller.
Annie's father was deceased by 1900, and she and her mother took up residence with with her uncle, Reubin Hamlin, and his family in Tifton, Berrin*, Georgia.

Mother, Rena Boyd, b ca 1866 in Macon, Georgia. B Feb 1866 per 1900 census. She was the mother of two children with only one still living at the time of the 1900 census.
Self, Anna L Boyd, b ca 1898 in Georgia. B Sep 1898 per 1900 census. father b in NY and mother in GA.
Marriage and Family
In 1920, Annie was married to John Miller. They were residing with John's mother, Anna, in Tifton, Tift County, Georgia**.
After Annie's death, John remained in West Palm Beach with their two children, John Alvin (b ca 1921-22 in Georgia) and Ruby Jean (b ca 1924-25 in Georgia). In 1930, Mercer Miller*** (b ca 1863-64 in GA), who is listed as John's mother, was residing with him and the children in 1930.
By 1935, as J.R. Miller, appears to have remarried to Harriet (b ca 1895 in GA)and the family is residing in Lake Worth. In addition to John Alvin and Ruby, there are two other children listed; Bill (b ca 1916 in GA), and Mary Joyce (b ca 1919 in GA); which I am imagining are step children to John.
By 1940, John is again listed as widowed and residing with John Alvin and Ruby Jean in West Palm with his two children with Annie.
On 26 September 1943, John again remarried to Gertrude DuRoche Rock, with whom he is interred.
*NOTE: The only Tifton I can find in Georgia is in Tift County. Tift County was also mentioned in additional family records. However, census records place the family in Tifton in Berrin County.
**NOTE: The 1920 census lists Annie as Lucile Miller Roberts, Lucile being her middle name, and Roberts appearing to be mistakenly derived from her husband's middle name of Robert.
***NOTE: John's mother is listed as Mercer Miller (b ca 1863-64 in GA). I am convinced that this is referring to Anna Catherine Boyd Miller, and have no idea where the name "Mercer" came from. I can find no other record for a Mercer Miller.
Interred on December 29, 1928 per Florida, Deaths
