Pauline M. 'Polly' Miller, 88, entered into rest April 20, 2009, at The Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the wife of Donald L. Miller, who died in 1980.

She was born March 19, 1921, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Ira and Beatrice (Dick) Ricard.

Mrs. Miller was employed by Ernie's Texas Lunch in Gettysburg for 58 years, where she proudly served her customers until her retirement in 2002. She also worked for 20 years at the former Trostle's Sewing Factory in Gettysburg. Polly, as she was known to her friends, was an avid bowler.

She is survived by a grandson, Ricky L. Miller and his fiancee, Sandi Sheeley of Gettysburg; two great-grandsons, Ricky Miller, Jr., and Justin M. Miller; a sister, Mazie Shriner of Gettysburg; a cousin, Amy 'Kitten' Miller and husband, Larry of Gettysburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary L. Miller in 1962.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Dick, Len Dick, Larry Miller, Ricky Miller, Jr., Justin Miller, Larry Shriner, George Rhodes and Ernie Kranias.

Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
