Judy was born on August 16, 1938, the daughter of Kenneth and Maxine Miller of Colfax, Washington. She was a member of Saint Luke United Methodist Church of Enterprise. She loved to play bridge and could not wait for Tuesday and Friday bridge group. She loved her family, friends and traveling to different locations for her Ronan Tynan concerts.
Judy lived with her husband at various Army Posts and was loved by all with whom she came in contact. She has friends all over the world. Col. Friedman retired from the Army in 1982 and he and his loving wife moved to Enterprise in 1997 to be close to their family.
Surviving are her husband, Col. (Ret.) Arthur M. Friedman; five children, Viki Davis and her husband, Anthony; Kirk Van Zee and his wife, Debbie; Larry Van Zee; Raymond Friedman (step son); Gail O'Brien (step daughter) and her husband, Matt. The wonderful family also includes twelve grandchildren, Trevor Davis and his wife, Erin; Sean Davis; Rachel Davis; Kelsey Van Zee; Christian, Gabriel and Julia Reina; Cory, Kyle and Tanner O'Brien; Ryan Friedman and Josh Hilbert; five great-grandchildren.
The family wants to thank Dr. Harrelson, Dr. Guinn and Serena Lewis as well as the nurses and staff of the Medical Center Enterprise for their wonderful care and concern in treating our dear Judy. We would also like to express our gratitude to Mid South Home Health, Wiregrass Home Health and our loving caregivers.
