Peter's first wife was Hannah 'Ann' Rambach daughter of John Rambach and Maria. Does not appear to have been any known children of this marriage. John Rambach died intestate, and Peter was very involved in the estate filings, one of those that paid a surety bond and was one of the executors of the estate. See John Rambach's memorial for more information. Peter eventually received half of the 223 acres belonging to the estate.

The will is not recorded until 20 Jul 1896 which at that time only Peter and Samantha survive, both whom never married. Sarah Mill Luke passed on 27 Aug 1873 but had 1 child, Loren Mill Luke, as noted in obituary of Mary Ann (Keithline) Mill.
