Anita R. Miles

MACON - Anita R. Miles, 77, died Wednesday at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10A.M., Saturday, November 4th at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Monty February will officiate. Serving as Pallbearers will be Keith Miles, Scotty Shepherd, Tripp Shepherd, Justin Miles, Chandler Miles and Allen Jones. The family will meet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Patsy and Scotty Shepherd, 3697 Bonanza Drive, Macon, GA 31216. They suggest that memorial contributions be made to Cathedral of Christ Baptist Church, 3216 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon, GA 31216. -Mrs. Miles, wife of the late Earl B. Miles, was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the daughter of the late Seab E. Roquemore and Minnie Lee Tucker Roquemore. She was a graduate of Lanier High School and was a cashier retired from Powell's Pharmacy. Mrs. Miles was a member of Cathedral of Christ Baptist Church. -Survivors include her daughter, Patsy M. (Scotty) Shepherd, Macon; her son, Keith (Becky) Miles of Dacula; her grandchildren, Shannon (Allen) Jones of Byron, Tripp (Crissy) Shepherd of Roberta, Chandler Miles and Justin Miles of Dacula; her great grandchildren, Payton Grace Shepherd and soon to be born our special Christmas gift, Mason Allen Jones; her brothers, James (Bobbie) Roquemore of Macon and Wayne (Nell) Roquemore of Ivey, GA; sisters-in-law, Gloanne Roquemore of Clam Lake, WI and Emmalee Miles of Reidsville; brother-in-law, Harold Mohr of Clam Lake, WI; many nieces and nephews. -Visit www.mem.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
