Obituary:
Jean Milburn, 80, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert and formerly of Hillsborough passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the nursing home where she had resided for the past 13 years.
Jean was born in Albert Mines, Albert County, N.B. on September 30, 1926 the daughter of the late Gordon and Mildred (Milton) Wilson. Jean was a housewife. She was a member of the Hillsborough United Church, she was active in her church when she was able, singing in the choir and also being a member of the United Church Women. She loved her family very much, Jean and her husband Grenville were a couple that would help anyone who needed a hand. Jean always had a smile and a sweet personality, she will be fondly remembered by many.
She will be deeply missed by her two sisters; sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by all of her husband's family, the Milburns, where she held a special place in their hearts. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband Grenville and by her brother Wendell.
There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at the Hillsborough United Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 2pm with Rev. Hugh Farquhar officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends in the church basement for further fellowship and for refreshments. Interment will be held in the Curryville United Cemetery, Curryville.
No flowers please, for those who wish donations to the Curryville United Cemetery or Forest Dale Home would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cap
