She married Hamilton "Ham" Stewert Hefner officiated by her pioneer grandfather, Bluford Milam on 30 August 1931 at Munday, Texas.
Survived by two daughters - Mrs. Sam "Joann" Walker and Mrs. Larry "Kathy" Connors; son - Jeffry Hefner; three sisters - Lillian Broach, Evelyn Samford, Sue Samford; six grandchldren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister - Katherine Isbell in 1984.
