MRS. MIKKELSEN PASSED AWAY FRIDAY MORNING
Funeral Services Wednesday Afternoon From Methodist Church Rev. Oestreich Officiating
Mrs. Miles Mikkelsen, well known resident of Cashmere for the past 12 years passed away in a Wenatchee hospital Friday morning after a short illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church with Rev. Oestreich of the Lutheran church officiating. Interment was in the Cashmere cemetery. Bearers were: Herman Rieke, Russell Greenstreet, Otis Shoun, Floyd Hughes, Amel Abel and Tom Snodgrass.
Mrs. Clara Josephine Mlkkelsen was born in Meeker county, Minn Nov. 24, 1879 and came to Cashmere In 1931.
Surviving are her husband, Miles Mlkkelsen, five sons, Roy and Owin of Cashmere, Lowell of Monitor, Marvin of Wales, N.D. and Morris of Fairbanks, Alaska, three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle McKellar of Kirkland, Mrs. Florence Hughes of Ephrata and Dorothy Mlkkelsen who is at home, three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Bitzenhoffer, Wyoming, Mrs. Thea Nelson, Litchville, N.D., and Mrs. Tlllle Anderson of Sergeant, Minn. Three brothers, Oscar Larson Litchville, N.D., Christopher Fort Ramson, Minn., and Edward of Minneapolis.
Her son Marvin of Wales N.D., and her sister Mrs. Hannah Bitzenhoffer of Casper Wyo., were here for the service.
