Irma Louise Bryant, 90, graduated to heaven on October 20, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She lived most of her adult life in Tulsa and Owasso. She was born May 11, 1921, in Waukomis, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Mabel Mikkelsen. She married James Bryant on August 17, 1938, and they had four children. She worked in food service at public schools and Hillcrest Medical Center. Her daily prayers for family, friends, and church family will be missed. She was a charter member of Tulsa Baptist Temple.

She is survived by a daughter, Audrey Ritsch; and two sons and their spouses, Calvin and Linda Bryant and Delbert and Catherine Bryant. She is also survived by a brother, Loren Mikkelsen, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, two sisters, and one brother.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Mowery Funeral Service, Owasso, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011, at Mowery Funeral Service Chapel, Owasso, with graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Ball Cemetery near Nowata, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tulsa Baptist Temple – Missionary Fund, 1203 South Columbia, Tulsa, OK 74104. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
