Mrs. Winifred Middleton Crawford, wife of Frank E. Crawford of Winchester, died at home Wednesday afternoon at 3:00. Youngest daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Middleton. Born in 1876 near Emlenton and spent early life in this vicinity. Member of M. E. church and active in various organizations. After her marriage she went to Boston and later Winchester where she has since resided. Survived by husband, one daughter, Mrs. Burdette Pohl, and one grandchild of Philadelphia, one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Christly of Butler, and one brother, Willard Middleton of Emlenton. Funeral party arrived here at 3:00 p.m. Saturday and proceeded at once to cemetery. Brief prayer service by Rev. B. F. Williams, close friend of the family. (October 1925)
