GIRARD – Evelyn E. Bahn, 67, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Northside Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born Nov. 30, 1944, in Weathersfield, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Gerthung) Michaels, but raised by her mother and stepfather, Carl Little Sr.
She married Charles A. Bahn Jr. on June 19, 1965, and had two daughters and a son. She had five grandchildren whom she loved and spoiled.
She worked for many years at Lawson's, Duff's Smorgasbord, Alberini's and local hotels as a housekeeper. She enjoyed bowling, doing hook rugs, and volunteering at her grandchildren's school. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Temple in Campbell. She was most known for her loving, caring ways and her constant smiles and hugs.
She leaves behind her husband, Charles, whom she loved with all her heart, forever and ever; her daughters, Brenda and Buck Winkleman and Sharon and Michael Spence, all of Girard; a son, David and Gennifer Bahn of Liberty; her grandchildren, Brayn Spence, Howard Winkleman, Chantel, Dejalynn, and Geordan Bahn. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Little; sister Marge Walsh; brothers Richard Michaels of McDonald, Carl Little Jr. of Niles and Jim Little of Girard; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harmon Michaels and Robert Little; her father; and stepfather.
Burial will be at Girard City Cemetery.
