It is with sorrow that the announcement of her death come on October 14th, 2010, at the age of 91. Much like an angel in disguise, she was adored by many and loved by all. She was known as an honest and straight-forward person who loved willingly those around her. Aggie was a hard worker until the day she died. Up until a couple of weeks ago she was still folding towels.

Aggie also enjoyed assisting her belated husband, John Meyers Sr., in serving the communities of La Veta and San Luis through Meyers Mortuary. She spent he spare time sewing and catering to the needs of her family. Embracing her family with a maternal instinct unquestioned by all who knew her, Aggie was awarded a well-deserved "Mother of the Year" award.
