Joan M. Bower, 75, of 111 2nd Street, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was born March 18, 1934, in Sunbury, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Wert) Metzger.
She was the widow of Harry R. Bower.
She was a member of Grace U.M. Church, Millersburg.
She enjoyed crafts and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her son Tracy Bower and his wife Kim of Millersburg, a brother Charles Metzger and his wife Annette of Orlando, FL, grandson Tyler E. Bower of Philadelphia, and granddaughter Kaitlyn P. Bower of Millersburg, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons Richard E. & Randy L. Bower, and a brother William F. Metzger.
Services will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. Millersburg on Wednesday, June 10th at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 10-11 AM.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
