Services Set Saturday for Mrs. Mahle
Services for Mrs. Harriett C. Mahle, Baltimore soprano, will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in the tablishment, Liberty Heights and Hillsdale avenues. Mrs. Mahle, 60 died last night at Maryland General Hospital following a brief illness. She resided at 5014 Gwynn Oak avenue. Afer studying music at the Peabody Conservatory here she starred with the late George Casteele and George Bolek in operettas during the 1920's.
--In Church Choir--
Mrs. Mahle sang in the choirs of Christ Episcopal Church, Trinity Methodist Church and Howard Park Methodist Church, and was soprano soloist at the two Methodist Churches for a total of eighteen years. She was also a member of the Baltimore Music Club, the Maryland Federation of Music Clubs, and was active in volunteer work at Maryland General Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Herbert J. Mahle; a daughter, Mrs. Harriett M. Ayares; a son, Herbert J. Mahle, Jr., and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery.
