Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Mineral church for Mrs. Vera Maude AMMER, wife of Chris AMMER, of near Mineral. Rev. L. D. ROBERTSON will officiate at the services and burial will be in Dutch Cemetery south of Mineral.
Mrs. AMMER passed away at her home Wednesday morning as the result of a heart ailment. She would have been 57 years of age on April 29. She was the daughter of George and Alice (EDINGTON) MERRITT, and was born in Jackson Township on April 29, 1890.
Mrs. AMMER was a member of the ASHCRAFT Chapel Methodist Church, of the Royal Neighbors of Park, and a member of the Bloomfield Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard SPARKS and Mrs. Van CARNEGIE, of Bloomfield; one son, Gilbert AMMER, of Scotland, and two sisters, Mrs. Jack WHITE, of Springville, and Mrs. Irene RECORD, of Bloomfield rural route.
Mrs. AMMER’S body will lie in state at the home of her daughter, Mrs. SPARKS, on West Main Street, until the hour of the services. Jenkins & Sons Funeral directors are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
