Janey "Chula" Garcia, age 60, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Salvador Vallejo; children, Angela Garcia, Jose' Garcia Jr., Santiago Garcia, Marcos Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Liza Murrieta, Rosa Garcia, Vincent Garcia; 32 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Ruben Gonzalez, Miguel Mendez, Josefina Rodriguez, Irma DeJonge, Maria D. Garcia, Julia Esquivel, Mario Mendez, Emilio Mendez; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker, 225 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Steven Cron, celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation also on Wednesday from 9-10 am at church prior to the service.
