Daughter of Capt. Charles Mellon, U.S.A and Eliza (Scott) Mellon.
Wife of Charles Madison Clark.
Mother of Charles Henry and William Edward Clark.
She is a very important member of the Clark family, in that she connects it to Captain Charles Mellon. But not much is known of her, as she appears only in census records. Her father's letters and census records indicate a year of birth of 1831, not 1835 as indicated on her gravestone. The 1850 and 1860 Censuses show her living in Detroit, Michigan with her mother. At some point between 1860 and 1866, she met Charles Madison Clark of Wilawana, PA, married him, and went back with him to Wilawana, where she kept house on the farm. She passed away of unknown causes in 1889 according to her gravestone.
