Dies at Home
Long Time Resident of Mountain Home Passes After Long Illness
Ruby Mellen Brady, 59, passed away at her home Saturday, May 18th, after a long illness.
Mrs. Brady was born in Ruby Hill, Nev., July 22, 1886 and came to Mountain Home with her parents in 1894. She was associated with the First National Bank for many years, also cashier of the Commercial Savings Bank. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Maccabees.
She is survived by two sons, Frank L and Harold E Brady, four sisters, Jane E. Miller of Loyalton, Calif, Gertrude Dick, Laura Latimore and Lottie Rowett, and a brother, Thomas H Mellen all of Mountain Home.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon, The Eastern Star services, at the Bey Mortuary, folled by services at St. James Episcopal church with the Rev. E.R. Allman officiating.
A trio composed of Mrs. Stanton Park, Mrs. L.F. Lesser and Mrs. Weldon Little san "Land of Peace", "Now The Day Is Over" and "They Will Be Done". They were accompanied by Mrs. Wallace Evans at the piano.
Among those attending from out of town were Mrs. D.W. Martin, Martin Stein, and Mrs. Phil Anderson of Glenns Ferry, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brady, Mrs. J.F. Emery, Frank Smith, all of Boise, and Mrs. Nita Palmer of Seattle, Wash.
