Mrs. Helgesen was a graduate of Bishop England High School and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia H.
Fesperman and herhusband Thomas of Dunwoody, GA; a brother, George J. Meitzler of North Charleston and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
