She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian H. and Katharina (Smith) Meints; husband, Alfred (Oct. 29, 1987); daughter, Ruth Buss (1966); sister, Emma Cramer; brothers, Elmer and Henry Meints.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, St. John Lutheran Church, Sixth and Washington streets, Beatrice, Pastor Richard Fruehling and Ernest Waltke, Parish Minister Associate, officiating. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Family prayer service: 10:15 a.m. Saturday, chapel of the church. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with Don and Joan Linsenmeyer in charge. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home, 19th and Garfield streets, Beatrice, from 5 p.m. Wednesday until 9 p.m. Friday evening, and then on Saturday at the church for one hour preceding the services.
