Alice Ruth (Meier) Lehner, 84, died July 21, 2007 in Battle Ground, WA. She was born Sept., 17, 1922, and was a lifelong resident of Clark County, living the past 64 years at her current home in Battle Ground. A 1940 graduate of Battle Ground H.S., she was a homemaker, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and was a Mariners fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1994; son, Dan, in 1993; and daughter Mary Pierce, in 2005. Survivors include sons: John, Paul Michael, Pat and Brian, all of Battle Ground, WA; daughters: Kathryn Brown of Battle Ground, WA and Elaine Nickelson and Ellen Harris, both of Woodland, WA; brother John Meier; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will begin Sat., July 28, 2007, 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Battle Ground, with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Battle Ground. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House, 100 E. 33rd Str., Vancouver, WA 98663
