CLINTON, WINIFRED
A resident of Clay, she died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, in Ruston after a lengthy illness. She was 91. Visiting at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at Clay United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Joe Hunter and the Rev. Ken Klemme. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Ruston. Survived by daughters, Marsha Kay Clinton of Clay and Harriett Clinton Howie and husband Bill of Baton Rouge; a son, Larry Clinton and wife Sandy of Clay; a brother, Robert Meek of Monticello, Ark.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, H.P. Clinton. Pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, John Kavanaugh, Carl Atkins, Track Kavanaugh, Richard Meek and Richard Poss. She was a member of Clay United Methodist Church and Longleaf Pine Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. The family would like to thank devoted caregivers Joyce Fields, Ella Lakey, Eudean Warren and Mary Williams. Memorial donations may be made to Clay United Methodist Church, 2388 La. 818, Ruston LA 71270.
