The wedding of Mr. Charles S. Meck, of the firm of Roberts & Meck, and Miss Flora A. Stouffer, will take place this evening at 8 o'clock at the residence of the bride's parents, No. 447 Broad street (sic), Rev. George Sigler, of the Fourth Street Church of God, officiating. The attendants will be Mr. Walter J. Springer, of Washington, with Miss Zelda M. Meck, sister of the groom, and Mr. Vincent Stanford with Miss Beatrice Landis, of York county (sic). A Carson Stamm, Esq, will be the usher. The ladies of the bridal party will wear cream silk.

Charles S. Meck, of the firm of Roberts & Meck, on Market square, was united in marriage last evening to Miss Flora A., daughter of D.H. Stouffer, of 447 Broad street (sic), by Rev. George Sigler, pastor of the Fourth Street Bethel Church of God. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride's parents. Miss Zelda Meck, of this city, and Miss Beatrice Landis, of Shiremanstown, were bridesmaids. The groomsmen were Walter J. Springer, of Atlanta, Ga., and Vincent W. Stanford, of this city. A.C. Stamm, esq., and Charles Huff, of New Cumberland, acted as ushers. Fully 175 guests were present. The newly wedded couple left this morning on a wedding tour to Philadelphia and New York.

SECOND PARTNER IS DEAD WITHIN 3-WEEK PERIOD

Charles S. Meck, of School Supply Firm, Suffers Heart Attack

Less than three weeks after the death of Alexander H. Roberts, his partner in the stationery and school supply firm of Roberts and Meck, Charles S. Meck, 62, prominent business man, died this morning at 3.30 o'clock of heart disease at his home, 1525 Green street (sic). Mr. Roberts died November 18 at his home, Fifth and Camp streets.

Mr. Meck is survived by his widow, the former Mrs. Anna E. Shearer, of Carlisle; one son, Robert S. Meck, of Camp Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Rudolph C. Hergenrother, Pasadena, California; one stepdaughter, Miriam K. Shearer, of Harrisburg; one sister, Mrs. Frank B. Kahn, of Harrisburg, and one brother, Frank L. Meck, also of this city.

Mr. Meck was born in New Bloomfield, Pa., the son of Joseph and I Catherine Meck. In 1894 he married Flora A. Stouffer, who died in 1924. In 1927 he was married to the former Mrs. Anna E. Shearer. He was an elder of the First Church of God and vice-president of the council, a meeting of which he attended last night. For many years he taught a woman's Bible class of the church and was a prominent figure in all church activities. He was a member of the Rotary Club, the Sons of Veterans and of the national board of directors of the National School Supply Association. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for Charles S. Meck, who died less than three weeks after Alexander H. Roberts, his partner in the firm of Roberts and Meck, local stationers and school supply firm for more than thirty years, yesterday morning at his home, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. H.R. Lobb, pastor of the First Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in the Harrisburg Cemetery. The body may be viewed Friday evening.
