Miss Agnes Mechem, eldest daughter of Mrs. Cassandra and the late Isaac Mechem, died at the home of her mother, near Rock Spring Church, on Monday, after a long illness of consumption, in the 23rd year of her age. Her funeral took place on Wednesday, the burial being at St. Ignatius Church. Rev. Father Frederick officiated, the bearers being Messrs. John Cain, Robert Treadwell, Frederick Lochary, Harry Whitaker, James Wilson and Walter Harkins. A large number of friends were present. Dean & Son had the funeral in charge.
