AMERICAN FORK - Funeral services for Alfred G. "Bill" Mecham, 59, American Fork, who died after a short illness on Saturday, March 13, 1976 in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be Wednesday at II a.m. at Anderson Mortuary in American Fork.
Mr. Mecham was born Feb. 16, 1917 in Pleasant Grove, to Amasa and Martha G. Keetch Mecham. He married Ila Holmstead on Dec. 21, 1946 in Evanston, Wyo.
He was a member of the LDS Church and a veteran of WW II. He was a transport driver for the Utah Road Commission.
Survivors include his widow, two sons and one daughter, Mrs. Dematrio (Bonnie) Cordova and James R. Mecham, both of American Fork, and William D. Mecham, Orem; four grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, LeRoy Mecham, Manti; Mrs. Percy (Mern) Adams, Orem; Mrs. Grace Overby, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Emily Miller, Calif.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
