R. Beatrice Enlow, 90, English, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at her home.

A native of Deuchars, born Jan. 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Theodore D. and Anna Louise Porter Mead.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Wesleyan faith and attended Little Mission Church in Hardinsburg.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Marvin Wright, in February 1937, and Herbert Enlow, on Oct. 8, 1974; two daughters, Beatrice L. and Dorothy P. Wright; a son, Paul J. Wright; a brother, Theodore S. Mead; a sister, Dorothy Smock; and five grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Leroy Wright and Carl Enlow, both of Marengo, and Ted Enlow of Leavenworth; four daughters, Pearl Allen of New Albany, Nora Neese of Roanoke, Va., Donna Jenkins of Marengo and Doris Bye of English; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Friday, Feb. 24, was Friday at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli with burial in Fredonia Cemetery in Leavenworth.

Officiant: Brothers Jeffrey Keaton and Ben Sillings.
