Marjolaine Hershey, 79, of Leonard, died Monday, May 6, 2002, at 6:40 p.m. at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.
She was born in Leonard, Mo., on Feb. 2, 1923, the daughter of Nathan Wilson and Inez Virginia Vandiver McWilliams Sr.
She married Garold Vernon Hershey on June 30, 1946, in Shelbina. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Kevin Garold Hershey of Leonard; two step-grandchildren, Donald Kenneth Boutah and Danielle Lynn Boutah of Hampton, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Nathan McWilliams Jr.
Mrs. Hershey was a member of the Leonard Christian Church. She was a school teacher and worked at Emerson Electric Defense Plant in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel in Clarence with Mark Engler officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery.
Visitation will be today (Wednesday, May 8) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence.
Memorials may be made to the Leonard Cemetery.
