LEXINGTON — Graveside services for Greta McVoy Moore, 91, of Kerrville were held Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 at the Lexington Cemetery with Rev. Doug Springer officiating.
Mrs. Moore died Saturday morning, Feb. 9, 2008 in Kerrville.
She was born Dec. 12, 1916 in Tanglewood to Robert Bruce McVoy and Hattie L. (Davis) McVoy.
She worked at South Houston High School cafeteria, was the supervisor of the Giddings State School and supervisor of the Waco State School cafeteria.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington and while living in Waco was active in the Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing 42, 84 and Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Pansy Lynn, Violet Jackson, Maurine Brown and Flora Bess Ellis.
Survivors include: two sons, M. Carol Moore and wife, Judy of Kerrville and Douglas Moore and wife, Sue of Riesel; four grandchildren, Greg Moore of Kerville, Bruce Moore and wife, Connie, Donna Bell and husband, Jubal and Phillip Moore and wife Laura; six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hanna-Belle, Christopher and his wife, April, Ryan, Amanda and Jennifer and two great-great grandchildren, Cody and Andrew Bell.
