ELWOOD - Mrs. Martha S. Gillam. 74, of Rt. 3, died Saturday morning at Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the Zion Chapel Church.
Surviving are five sons; John R. Gillam, William R. Gillam and Danny Lee Gillam, all of Elwood. Donald E. Gillam of Peru, and Milton Dale Gillam. of Tipton; two brothers; Verl McQuitty of Anderson and Harold McQuitty of Elwood; four sisters. Mrs.Nellie Davis of Elwood. Mrs. Lillian Gagle of Salamona. Mrs. Fern Cummers and Mrs. Eva Mitchell, both of Portland; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Ell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 pm Monday.
