Alice was the great grand-daughter of Colonel James McPherson, the prominent Logan Ohio citizen and war hero of 1812.

Alice Mae McPherson Gebby was married to Robert William Gebby and lived in Hardin County Ohio for many years.

She was the mother of 4 Children, 2 of which died in early childhood. Her surviving children, Solon and Thelma Mae went on to marry, Solon raising a family in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Alice and her husband Robert moved to Marion County, Indianapolis Indiana about 1920.

Alice passed away August 11, 1937 just before her 63rd birthday. She is buried in the Gebby section of Anderson Cemetery in Warren Park, Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Alice descendants include 7 great grand children and 10 great great grand children. They are writers, public servants, Engineers, and artists.
