|Death: ||Jul., 1905|
The funeral of Angus McPhee was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the M. E. Church. The fraternal order of A.O.U.W. escorted the remains from the home on West Francis to the church. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Millikan, assisted by Mrs. Gilbert, Miss Henrietta Beck, Messrs. Cole and Freed. Mrs. Dan Beck presided at the piano.
The quartet rendered these selections, "Asleep in Jesus," "Abide With Me," and "Thy Will Be Done." Rev. Millikan had for his text, "In my Father's house are many mansions." His words were full of assurance and sympathy. The flowers were very beautiful indeed. The services at the church being concluded, the A.O.U.W. escorted the body to the Red Butte Cemetery where their impressive funeral exercises were held.
The pallbearers were all members of the A.O.U.W. and were C. W. Van Horn, Alex Stoker, Ed Gray, Robert Pearce, Andrew Wheeler, and E. W. Mollart.
