She was raised in Tilton and graduated in 1959 from Tilton/Northfield High School. She attended Westbrook College in Portland, Maine.
She moved to Hartford, Conn., where she was employed by Veeder-Root, a manufacturer of electronic timers and odometers. She returned to Tilton in 1964. She worked in the early morning for Sanborn News in Tilton, left and worked full time for the N.H. Department of Motor Vehicles. She came home at night and would wait tables at Bunny's Restaurant, The Tilton Inn or the Margate to support herself and her son. She retired from the Department of Motor Vehicle after 35 years and was one of the longest-serving employees.
Suzanne took great pleasure in doing all she could for her family, especially her nieces and nephew. She had a very quick wit and loved to discuss politics.
Suzanne is survived by her brother, Dale Rollins, and his wife, Nancy, of Northfield; a nephew, Derek Rollins, of Tilton; nieces, Kristina Sasseville and April Gurghian, of Laconia and Jillian Rollins of Northfield; granddaughter, Cynthia Burnell, of Florida; and aunts, June Tilton of Tilton and Marguerite Tarte of Laconia, who were both very attentive to her in her final years. She is also survived by a son, Tim McNeill of Tilton.
