Dorothy Lou McNear Bishop, 78, of Centralia died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at her home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Centralia Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Dorisse, pastor of First Christian Church in Centralia, officiating.
She was born Nov. 24, 1926, in Centralia, the daughter of Tom and Ruby Roberts McNear.
She married Woodrow Wilson Bishop on Dec. 8, 1945, in Paris, Mo., and he preceded her in death.
She was a bookkeeper for John Ellis Chevrolet in Paris and Jacksonville, Ill.
She was a graduate of Centralia High School. Mrs. Bishop was a member of First Christian Church and a board member of Sunset Gardens.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Bishop Smith of Germantown, Tenn., and one cousin, Arah Kathryn Grimes of Hallsville.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Bobby R. Smith.
The family suggests memorials to Centralia First Christian Church.
Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia is in charge of arrangements.
