Services for Esther C. McNair, 89, Minneapolis, Kan., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis with the Rev. Larre Eschliman officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mrs. McNair died Thursday at the Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center. She was born Jan. 5, 1901, in Colby.
Mrs. McNair was a school teacher. She taught in Council Grove, Kinsley, Geuda Springs and Wellington. She moved to Minneapolis from Wellington in 1967 and taught in the Clifton-Clyde School District until she retired in 1971.
Mrs. McNair was a member of First Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian Women, the PEO Sisterhood and she was a former Sunday school teacher, all in Minneapolis. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Assn.
Mrs. McNair's husband, Floyd S. McNair, died in 1964.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Wallace, Lawrence, and Ruth Bloodworth, Merriam; a sister, Helen Hahn, Minneapolis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
