Bonnie was the daughter of George and Kate (Ball) McMurry. She married Vernon Criswell in 1941 in Wewoka. She was a school teacher in Holdenville and also a ranch partner in Stuart. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Barnett, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
