Isabelle H. McMurray, 87, of Divernon died at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Hospital. She was born March 4, 1903, in Rockford, the daughter of Andrew and Catherine Hayer. She married Hayward T. McMurray in 1932 in Rockford. He died in 1976.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Springfield; United Methodist Women; King's Daughters; Springfield Garden Club.
Surviving are one son, Hayward of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn M. Marshall of Veedersburg, Ind., and Margaret Fletcher of Santa Rosa, Calif; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services at First United Methodist Church, Springfield, with Drs. W. Harold Loyd and Roger Rominger officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
