Thelma "Toody" Adams, 93, of Springfield died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Athens, the daughter of Ervin and Gladys Hedrick McMurray. She married James Adams; he died in 1945.
Mrs. Adams retired from CILCO after 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Dora, Fla., and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors: three sons and a daughter; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services: Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, the Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial: Rose Lawn Memorial Park.
