MRS.C.C.HOOD

HARTSVILLE - Mrs. C.C. Hood,80,died at home Saturday night.
Funeral services will be conducted in First Baptist Church Monday at 4 p.m. by Rev. Gary Foil. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Hood was the former Miss Eleanora McLean of Blythewood, a daughter of the late Elizabeth C. Walling and James Daniel McLean. Born in Prosperity, she had lived in Hartsville for the past 50 years. Mrs. Hood was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught in the Sunday School for 40 years. She was employed at Byerly Hospital. She was a member of the S.C. Licensed Practical Nurses Association,charter member and past worthy matron of the Hartsville Chapter of the No. 91 order of the Eastern Star, and a life member of the Hartsville Civinette Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. Carlisle Doggette, Sr and two grandchildren.
