Ella Burton McLaurin Brantham, 82, of Rossville, GA, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 in a local hospital. She attended Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga, GA.
Mrs. Brantham was born on August 18, 1927 in Clinton, NC. She resided in Goldsboro, NC and Piedmont, SC, and in Rossville, GA at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Johnson Brantham.
Survivors include her brother, Harold McLaurin, Rocky Point, NC; twelve children, Terrie Brantham Futrell( Steve), Roanoke, VA, Sherry Brantham Johns(Kelvin), Raleigh, NC, Rev. Jerry Johnson Brantham, Jr. (Arleen) South St. Paul, MN, Julia Kaye Brantham Jones (Terry), Chattanooga, TN, Ivan Eugene Brantham (Rita), Rossville, GA, Leisa Brantham King (Alan), Falmouth, IN, Rebecca Brantham Elliott (Jim), Monticello, IN, Susan Brantham McCurdy (Scott), Danville, IL, Sonya Brantham Kramm (Dave), Phnom Penh, Cambodia, John David Brantham, Piedmont, SC, Jennifer Brantham Cole (Ken), Cleveland, TN, and Sarah Brantham Foster Fowler, Greer, SC: thirty nine grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Greenville Memory Gardens, Piedmont, SC.
