Mrs. Dougherty was born in Ireland and came to this country when a young woman with a brother. She lived the east for a time and then moved to Wisconsin. There she married Patrick Dougherty. Four children were born to this union, two of whom, Jenny Dougherty and Mrs. Finley, survive. She passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Finley, May 3rd, aged 88 years.
