May B. Harweger, 72, of 109 W. Market St., Bloomington, died at 10:05 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 16, 1992) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, after a long illness.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Mike McElyea officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home. Mrs. Harweger was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Edinburg, a daughter of David W. and Bertha M. Malone McKinney. She married Roy W. Harweger Nov. 7, 1937, in Paxton. He died Oct. 3, 1978.

Surviving are two sons, . . . ; two daughters,. . . ; two sisters, Mamie Lambrich, Fontana, Calif., and Elsie Rasmus, Normal; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Harweger was a member of Eastview Christian Church, Bloomington.

She was a former longtime resident of Chenoa.

She was last employed by Johnson Press Co. in Pontiac. Prior to that, she had worked at Pontiac Chair Co.
