Martha Ann Lauver died at LaHarpe Extended Care Facility where she has lived since 1977, on 13 May 1984. Buried at Stronghurst Cemetery. She was born 11 April 1889 near Stronghurst; her father was John McKeown, her mother was Isabella Stevenson. She married O. W. Lauver on 16 March 1911 in Galesburg, Ill. He died 18 January 1982. They have a son, James, of Galesburg, and sons Dale and Robert of Stronghurst. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers, and resided in rural Stronghurst.
