Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother Twila Mary Moosman McInelly, completed her mission on this earth and returned to her Father in Heaven January 3, 2011, at the age of 98 surrounded by many of her loving family.

She was born September 13, 1912 in Boulder to Christian Jr. and Mary Eliza Thompson Moosman, the tenth of 12 children, and was very much welcomed into this family.

She spent her growing up years in Boulder where the family lived on a ranch during the warm months of the year and at the family home in town during the winter months. She attended schools in Boulder, Wayne County, Logan and Escalante. While in Escalante, she met and fell in love with Arthur Ernest McInelly. They married July 16, 1930 in Escalante and were sealed in the St George Temple May 23, 1934. He passed away March 14, 1970.

Twila lived most of her married life in Escalante. She was a wonderful wife and mother and worked right alongside Arthur in whatever he was doing. She, Arthur and a few other friends formed the first riding club in Escalante and enjoyed participating in the events at the club meets.

After Arthur's passing, she worked in the local grocery store and then as a cook at the Escalante Senior Citizen Center. Finally retiring at almost 80.

She was a wonderful seamstress and also a master quilter. All of her family and many friends have been recipients of her quilts.

Twila was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as ward Primary President and as organist/pianist for Relief Society and the DUP. She served as captain and other callings in the DUP where she remained active well into her 90's. She was a faithful visiting teacher

She was Grand Marshal of the Pioneer Day Celebration parade in Escalante on July 24, 2010. She was proud of her heritage. Her large family was a great joy to her. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Wells Arthur (Emma Lou) McInelly, Ellensburg, WA; Foster Kent (Phyllis) McInelly, LaVerkin; Chan E McInelly, Farmington; Mary (Sherrel) Davis, Rexburg, ID; Myrna (Scott) Watts, Kanosh; Judy (Lynn) Griffin, Escalante; Grena Kay (Michael) Searle, St. George; 44 grandchildren, 136 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Yoland McInelly, Mesa, AZ; sister, Veda Behunin of Boulder; brother-in-law, Glade (Darlene) Reynolds, Richfield.
