"Mrs. Theresa McGrail, beloved wife of Mr. James McGrail, a popular B. & O. passenger brakeman, died at her home in Cumberland, Md., Monday 7 August 1905 after a lingering illness of consumption, aged 28 years.
Her remains were brought to Piedmont Wednesday morning and taken to St. Peter's Catholic Church, where Rev. Thomas E. Gallagher conducted the funeral services. Rev. Thomas E. McGuigan preached the sermon. The interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
The deceased was Miss McGraw before her marriage, and resided in Piedmont, where she has many friends who mourn with her husband and one child over her sad death."
